Westhab is thrilled to announce that lottery applications are now open for Summit on Hudson (formerly known as Hudson Hill), a 113-unit affordable housing residence located at 76 Locust Hill Avenue in Yonkers. The latest addition to Westhab’s affordable housing portfolio, Summit on Hudson is a six-story building that combines state-of-the-art green technologies with the convenience of modern day amenities in a beautiful setting. All of the units will be permanent housing for households earning no more than 60% of Area Median Income (AMI) for the Westchester County Area. Forty-five units will be used as supportive housing for formerly homeless residents.
This project proves that we can create affordable housing that is high-quality, replicable, and sustainable. Summit on Hudson is the culmination of beautiful architecture and eco-friendly innovation. In fact, Westhab was awarded $1,000,000 in New York State’s Buildings of Excellence Competition for the distinct design of this low-carbon emitting structure. “The building’s sustainable design incorporates both proven and novel technologies and strategies to reduce energy consumption, increase healthy living, and lower the building’s carbon footprint,” said Andrew Germansky, Westhab’s Senior Vice President of Real Estate.
The building amenities include a beautiful outdoor courtyard with lush landscape that will offer a quiet, relaxing space for tenants; a top-floor community room offering stunning views of the Hudson River and the Palisades; laundry facilities; onsite covered parking; electrical vehicle charging stations; bicycle storage rooms, and more.

Westchester Residential Opportunities is now accepting applications to enter the lottery for the available units at Summit on Hudson, including units that are fully accessible and adapted for individuals with hearing and/or vision impairments and wheelchair users. The deadline to submit the application is September 26, 2023 at 4 pm. The lottery recipients will be announced on October 11, 2023 at 11 am via Zoom.
