Westhab does not collect any information from you on the Westhab website (“Site”) without your knowledge and permission, and we do not ask that you enter any personal information to access or use most areas of the Site. Under certain circumstances, we ask you to provide personal information to us – for example, if you are interested in volunteering, if we run a contest, or if you wish to receive newsletters or subscribe to our RSS feed, or wish to donate to Westhab. If you have opted to receive any of our publications by email you are able at any time to unsubscribe by sending an e-mail with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org. When you provide Westhab with your email address and mailing address we may contact you to provide you with further information about our activities and about opportunities for you to become further involved with Westhab. You can choose not to receive such requests by emailing email@example.com.
We are pleased when young people visit our Site to learn more about Westhab. If you are under the age of 13, please do not provide any information to Westhab. We do not knowingly solicit data from children.
Other Information We Gather
If you choose to browse the Site and do not register for emails or other services, the only information we gather during general browsing is from standard server logs. These include your IP (Internet Protocol) address, domain name, browser type, operating system, and information such as the website that referred you to us, the files you downloaded, the pages you visit, and the dates/times of those visits. This general information is in no way linked to your name or other personal information and is only used for purposes such as tracking the total number of visitors to our site and which portions of our Site attract the most visitors.
