Jim Coughlin has been with Westhab since 2000 when he began working as a job retention specialist. In his 20 years with the organization, Jim has been a champion of Westhab’s mission and a passionate advocate for our clients. Having served as Westhab’s director of staff development, the vice president of human resources, and most recently the senior vice president of services, Mr. Coughlin is deeply knowledgeable about the organization. In 2020, Mr. Coughlin became Westhab’s first chief operating officer. In this role, Mr. Coughlin oversees the operations of all programs and teams including employment services, youth services, and all Westchester and NYC housing and shelters.

Mr. Coughlin received his BA from Marist College and his PHR Certification from Fairleigh Dickinson University in conjunction with the Society for Human Resources.
