Celebrating Our Youth: End-of-Year Highlights
As the school year comes to a close, Westhab’s youth programs have been buzzing with excitement! The end of the school year marks the culmination of a great deal of hard work and the highly anticipated Youth Showcase, where young people from all of Westhab’s Westchester and NYC program sites come together to share their talents—from original dance choreography, dance, violin, poetry, singing, STEM, and art. It’s a celebration of a year’s worth of growth and a reminder of why we do this work.
Our youth services are rooted in the communities that need them most, providing safe, engaging spaces where young people can thrive. In the past year, Westhab served over 2,262 young people through after-school programs, summer camps, mentoring, and career readiness training. Young people across the Bronx, NYC, White Plains, and Yonkers are building their own futures—thanks to support from Westhab, our partners, and generous donors.
Stay tuned—Westhab Youth Services is growing. We’re preparing to launch programming in new NYC neighborhoods, expanding our reach and our impact. More details coming soon!
