Special Needs Facilities
Westhab manages several small residential facilities
that provide targeted services for individuals and families
with special needs related to domestic violence, addiction,
and mental health.
Three facilities, in Yonkers, New Rochelle,
and White Plains, provide a total of 86 units of single room
occupancy (SRO) housing for single adults who are coping with
homelessness, addiction and other mental health issues. Eight
units in Yonkers are dedicated to families victimized by domestic
violence, where case management focuses on assistance with
court-related issues, as well as issues such as self-esteem,
life skills, employment training and home finding.
